Advanced Modern Dentistry

The field of dentistry is constantly evolving and changing to best suit patient needs. At MyoSmile Clinic we are always on the lookout for new and emerging technology to make our patients’ experience as comfortable as possible.

One of these technologies is CEREC that help’s us provide Same-Day crowns and bridges also known as a single appointment crown, a same day dental crown uses CEREC technology, which allows us to custom-craft your ceramic crown within a few hours.

Advanced Tech at MyoSmile

These are one of the most efficient X-Ray techniques available today, limiting your exposure to radiation from traditional X-rays. They produces excellent image quality straight out of the machine. These machines give faster scanning results, offers convenience and expedites the treatment planning. It takes only a few seconds to take a panoramic exposure and allows for instant image evaluation.

Benefits of Digital Panoramic X-Ray

  • A reduction in the amount of radiation
  • X-ray images are available instantly, which means, if you’re in pain, you’re not waiting for the images to be processed and then viewed
  • Your dentist is able to use color contrast in viewing the X-ray image to see all of the details
  • It’s simple and painless, and you’ll be able to see the images when your dentist reviews them with you
  • Allows a dentist to see the condition of prior dental procedures, such as fillings, crowns, root canals, and bridges

Visualize and understand your oral health status and communicate various concerns to our dental professionals, in an effective manner! Thanks to Intra Oral Cameras, which are conveniently placed on all our treatment stations, providing high-definition digital images. One of the biggest advancements of this technology is the ability to allow the storage and transmission of magnified, high-definition oral images and video. The Intra Oral Camera is very useful during dental restoration procedures.

Is the thought of dental surgeries taking away your sleep? Soft tissue laser therapy is the answer . A major breakthrough in dentistry, this technologyis best used for procedures involving cutting or contouring soft tissue. In soft-tissue laser surgery, healing is often faster, and there is smaller risk of swelling and infection. The laser treatment is more comfortable, with much less recovery time necessary after the procedure.

Soft tissue lasers are ideal for:

  • Sterilizing endodontic canals
  • Treating periodontal disease
  • Tooth whitening
  • Reshaping a ‘gummy’ smile
  • Removing benign tumors from the cheeks, lips, gums and palate
  • Treating the pain associated with cold sores

Soft tissue laser procedure can help ease Sleep Apnea and regenerate nerves

Sleep apnea is caused by the overgrowth of soft tissue in the throat area. A soft tissue laser procedure can help to restructure the throat. This helps to relieve the breathing issues that are commonly linked to sleep apnea. The technique can also be used to help regenerate damaged blood vessels, scars and regenerate any damaged nerves in the mouth.

By using dental loupes, we are able to choose the right magnification and working distance. This enables us to achieve better working posture, reducing stress on eyes, back, shoulder and neck. The use of magnification in dentistry not only improves the quality of care provided to patients, but also expands the range of treatments that can be offered. The loupes also help our dentist to visualize factors, which are otherwise not visible to the naked eye.

Magnification gives:

  • Magnified Image
  • Brilliant Illumination
  • Increasing Precision
  • Improved Dental Care

Flaunt a confident smile during those special moments in life, as we have made teeth whitening simple, safe and affordable . Zoom Teeth Whitening is an ideal procedure if you want immediate results. It’s an effective way of lightening the natural color of your teeth without removing any of the tooth surfaces.

Power Professional Whitening

Zoom your way to a shining white smile! We recommend this type of whitening for those who wish to whiten their teeth quickly. In this procedure, whitening gel is placed on your teeth and light is directed over your teeth for fifteen minutes. This process is repeated for further two times and the entire procedure takes about an hour to complete.

Home Whitening

Home Teeth Whitening system employs a revolutionary gel to whiten your teeth . You can do this at home usually at night. Our dentist will fit you with special whitening trays, which hold the whitening gel on your teeth. It is a safe and effective treatment and very cost-efficient! You can see the results in just two to four weeks’ time.

Is the thought of teeth straightening causing you anxiety? Then Invisalign will give you solace. This is a unique technology that straightens teeth using a series of almost invisible, removable aligners that are custom-made for your teeth. Wearing the aligners will gradually and gently shift your teeth into place. There are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten.

Invisalign® Procedure

The total treatment time averages from 6 to 14 months. You will be given a series of customized trays designed to progressively straighten your teeth over several months. Each set of aligners is worn for two weeks, and then replaced with the next in the series.

Since the aligners are clear, they are virtually undetectable when worn. Also, since the aligners are removable, better oral hygiene can be achieved.

Benefits of Invisalign over regular braces:

  • Clear, discreet teeth aligners
  • Removable for eating, drinking, brushing and flossing
  • No broken wires or other problems associated with braces that may necessitate an office visit for fixes and adjustments
  • Less treatment timeto achieve optimal results
